Both my cats enjoyed chilling in this pack so far and it has made us being able to go to the forest with them!! Super fun.

Great quality and style. I recommend this product. My only complaint is that my cat gets hot in it and starts panting when the weather is above 80 degrees. Everyone probably needs the larger size bag. Our cat is 11 pounds.
Rebecca
My cats are in love with this backpack! 10/10 recommend

This bag is the best one that I’ve looked at and I thought it would have an equal shape or it stays up right but at the bottom where the dome of mesh is it has a slight bend to the bag which causes slight space decrease on the inside

First, my kitten really likes this carrier and will play in it. She is also comfortable being in it when I go out with her. Since her opinion matters the most...The quality of the materials is very good and it is very sturdy. The backpack straps are comfortable, not like thin uncomfortable straps put on as an afterthought. It does fit nicely under airplane seats, even on smaller planes.I did have an incident where the zipper broke on a plane, with a different kitten they might have tried to get away, but she didn't and I was able to fix the zipper. Once a zipper goes bad though, it can't be trusted.I contacted the company and they responded within less than a day. They sent out a replacement within a couple of days, which is really great service. The pack also has an interior tether, which I hook to her harness in case of emergency, like with the zipper.Overall, I'm super pleased with the carrier and the service.

I bought the large one for my Maine Coon kitten. He needs to grow into it but loves it already!❤

This backpack is one of the biggest I've been able to find and my 14.5 lb Ragdoll fits in it well, I wouldn't say there's tons of room but he can lay down cuddled up and not be squished uncomfortably. Having said that, considering this is a backpack for large cats there should be a waist strap as well as the shoulder straps. I'm trying to find a way to attach something which should help distribute the weight so it's not all on the shoulders. I have another cat backpack that's smaller but includes this strap so I don't know why this one doesn't. Anyways if it had this I would definitely give it a higher score.

Prior to using this backpack, we would use a small backpack that was uncomfortable to bring our cat on bike rides. Now she has enough room to lay down and nap or look around comfortably. This is of pretty decent quality for the price.

El bulto está espectacular. Mi garo es un gato grande y pesado y tiene espacio suficiente. Me encanto

Bought this backpack to take my indoor cat on our dog walks to provide an enrichment activity for him. He’s a 13 pound tall boy and fits just fine. By the end of the walk he’s curled up on the bottom chilling. The backpack has a really nice sturdy structure and my cat enjoys the bubble window.I am 5ft tall and the bottom of the backpack hits right above my butt and that hurts a little, but not enough for me to not use it. So just keep that in mind.

i tried her to get inside this carrier and she loves it like its her forever home

I bought the original one for the full price around 120 $ and it's just the same bag like this one.I have two cats so I use both bags, and they do exactly the same job.Great bag for great price Recommend

Great durability and its breathable which is important to me for the comfort of the kitty. Good price and product!
solark
Great product, with sense of respect for pets. My cat loves it and enjoys the rides.

Bubble came bent so it didn't fit the ring to secure tightly. The company was great in responding and resolving the issue. My daughter loves this bag for her cat, otherwise!
Danielle
I bought this for my 13 lbs Maltipoo who is kinda tall for her breed. I was worried this carrier would be too small for her and/or sink under her weight. While it’s not as roomy as I’d like, she fits in it sitting up with the top closed, can turn around and can curl up to lay down if she wants, which I tried to get pics of but she wasn’t going for it. The bottom is sturdy and doesn’t sink at all. Like other reviewers, I wish there was a waist strap in additional to the chest strap for comfortability, I may buy one to add on. I velcroed a portable fan to the inside because I’m in a very hot area and I worry about her over heating even though I am satisfied with the ventilation of this bag for normal weather conditions. I taped a metal straw horizontally under the bubble window because when my dog stands up to look out the front, the front of the bag caves a lot and looks like she’ll fall out. The straw eliminated that. Overall, I’m happy with the quality, price and fit of this bag. Looking forward to many adventures with my girl!
Serenity Schuster
My kitty loves it! He’s only 8 pounds so it’s a little big for him now but he’ll definitely grow into it. Really nice quality canvas material and I chose it over the others I was looking at because it had the window, pockets on the side and a clip to attach their harness/collar to. It’s also a very simple and attractive design. Others had too many entrances; sides, front, top back. For this one, I personally don’t like the design of the hole cover. It looks a little faddish when I would prefer it to be simple like the rest of the backpack. And maybe for future designs, an option to have a strap around the waist for the backpack wearer in addition to the chest. Overall a great backpack to take my cat exploring and I’m super satisfied with my purchase.
Tracy
This is probably the best quality I’ve seen in this type of bags and I’ve tried different ones that are sold through Amazon and other retailers. My cat weighs 10 pound and she has room to move around in the bag. She loves to stick her head out when we walk around outdoor. The shoulder straps are comfortable enough for me to carry her for a couple of hours. I wish it comes in more colors other than brown and gray but this is minor. Overall. I’m very happy that I’ve found this bag and would highly recommend this for pets maybe 15lbs and under.
Paige Donovan
I have two kittens so I will be needing another one come springtime. I constantly get compliments on how cute this backpack is. I will say, it is not meant for large cats. One very large cat could be extremely cramped in the backpack and super heavy to carry. However, I think this is really great for a regular sized cat. My kittens love playing in the backpack and have become very comfortable with being put inside it. Overall, I really like this product.
Satya
This bag is pretty big. My cat is 20 pounds and he fits comfortably. He actually enjoys being in it. Even when we are walking and the top is open, he will still hunch down and watch through his bubble window. The window does scratch easily as someone mentioned, but it’s plastic so that’s to be expected. Overall, it’s been a good investment so far.
Cristin Schieder
I have a long, heavy cat. He's usually too big for cat backpacks, but fits well in this one with enough room to turn around. The backpack is sturdy and fits comfortably on my back.
Corey
I have a large breed cat (about 20lbs) and wanted something that would make them more comfortable when we travel. This backpack was perfect. It supports their weight and my cat actually loves it. We leave it out so that they can jump in it whenever they want. It's a much bigger hit than the old cat carrier. I would definitely recommend this to cat parents.
Cpamon
Daughter takes the cat for walks in the backpack. He loves it. Only wish there was sturdier support straps- he’s a heavy cat
TamraLen
Daughter and cat love it!
Daira Brayley
Harriet fits perfectly, and she loves going on adventures in it! It would be nice if it had a zip pocket so your keys don’t fall out though.
Patricia Contreras
The backpack is durable and keeps my kitty safe. I only recommend you add a blanket or something for weight unless your cat is bigger, mine is still a baby kitten. Other than that, highly recommend this product!!
Sophia Valdez
I appreciate this! It’s breathable for my cat an that’s an important, often overlooked feature. It has a window for him to look out but enough space for him to sit or lay down if the stimulation is too much and he needs to hide. The top is also sturdy enough that if he wanted to sit with his harness and leash on top and peek past my shoulders, it would support him (the security leash this bag has is crummy, though! It’s the only thing that upset me, but I’ll use his leash and KittyHolster). It feels slightly bulky, but I prefer it for his space, but the bottom doesn’t dig into the back and the bottom doesn’t sink when he’s in it. It’s pretty sturdy. He’s a 10lb siamese or mix of sorts, and I purchased the large.
Derail H
Very impressed! The backpack is very durable yet flexible at the same time. It’s very easy to put together. It’s very sturdy as well. Holds my 18/19lb, long cat very well. One thing that would make it better is if you could adjusted the length of the safety leash on the inside of the backpack.

I bought this product for my cat's enjoyment, right? Patches is 5 months old; I use this bag to take her out and about. I've used thing a lot. Before using it however, I even let her explore it for a long time before using it. She does wonderful when it's laying down. She will go and just sleep in there sometimes. She LOVES the softness of the inside. However, she FIGHTS me like you wouldn't believe when I go to take her out now. If I catch her first thing in the morning, she's pretty mellow. Doesn't mind going to the vet in it. I put her in there to take her on a walk and she becomes this little demon from hell. Claws out, fighting while swinging her paws everywhere. After several claw marks going from elbow to wrist, I usually end up winning, barely. Now, when I out it on, I can't wear it on my back at all. She screams like I'm murdering her. I have to wear it on my front, looking like an angry, pregnant human hippo. Yes, a pregnant hippo. I'm already slightly overweight, keep in mind. It's just, I have to lean back to keep the screaming jumping bean from trying to rip the top open and go for my face. Now, she has a slight opening from the top to get her started. They have a hook to attach to their harness or collar to the bag to ensure she won't run away. Since she's too small for a harness, I can't clip it to her collar, or she'll choke herself. I could leave it in the bag and off of her but then as we walk, it slams into her head, as it swings back and forth. I don't like being hit in the head so, I TRY to be nice and leave it out. Unfortunately, like I said earlier, doing that makes an opening that can help her escape her cozy prison. Now, once she settles down, she will sit down and stare at the people as we walk through our small town. She likes watching the people, seeing the cars whizz by, and stares with intent to kill at all the wildlife around us. The biggest drawback honestly is where it lets air in EVERYWHERE. We went out for a walk, and she was shivering so bad, I had to put a blanket inside to help keep her warm. To sum it up, I like this bag because I can actually take Patches out to enjoy nature or travel to the vet in comfort. I also am not hurting my wrist carrying a huge plastic prison box. I just wish it was a little warmer and more comfortable to carry on your chest.
QL
I have a 5 month Siberian kitten, about 4.5 lbs. We took her to the vet for the first time today. The bag is very spacious - a lot of room for her to relax. It feels like good quality. Ziggy loves it.

My cat loved the bubble to look out on the flight!
Sergio Fernandez
My cat loves this bag! We had another one that was too small and didn't have the bubble, so he really didn't like to be in it.This one has plenty of space for him to move around, and he loves looking through the bubble. My only complaint is the sturdiness of the bag. When he peers out through the top, putting his paws on the edge, the bottom of the bag (where the 3 holes are) crumples a bit. I would love to see an updated version with vertical reinforcement in the corners.
mhw
I will say up front: my cats love this. They choose to sleep in it at home all the time, which makes travel to the vet much easier. However, this product claims to be 'airline approved' which is highly misleading. It is too big to fit under the seat on planes and therefore is not allowed as cabin baggage by the vast majority of airlines. It also doesn't meet the requirements for a cargo kennel on airlines. I have seen pictures on other websites indicating that this bag could be strapped into a plane seat to fly - assuming you want to purchase a full plane seat for your cat - but many airlines simply don't allow this. If you need to take your cat on a plane, you'll have to buy a new bag.
Maximilian Rosenfeld
My cat is pretty big, not 26 lbs but super long and he actually fits! He was fussy at first but now he just sleeps in the bag when we're not outside using it. Not worried about its durability, high enough quality. If you're cat is big and he/she begs to go outside you should probably buy this (also half the cost of the branded version).
Summer Sobeck
Sebastian is a 1 year old Maine Coon so he’s pretty big as is (bigger than all our other cats, let alone how big he’s going to be). So I was a little nervous about the size, but he fits great. It’s nice and spacious and I can’t get him out of it now that he treats it as his cat house when it’s set down. He loves riding in it and doesn’t try to hop out when it’s open or anything. He sits in for the ride and has been intentionally batting the other cats away because he loves it so much . I put it on a chair he likes to scratch and put something to scratch inside the bag, so now when no one’s around he just hops in and cooperates. He tries scratching the inside of the bag (his nails are clipped so he can’t do harsh damage) but so far it’s been really durable. I’m really really impressed with this bag, it surpassed my expectations.
RyceBall
Roux clearly approves! She dislikes being carried longer than 15ish seconds and always makes that known with her teeth and claws. As such, when she got tied of hing carried on the way back from her first short outdoor adventure (she was cold due to the wind), she literally clawed her way out of my arms, onto my shoulder, and essentially yeeted herself into the bag.Not fully pictured: Roux's brother Rix who, while approving of the bag, prefers to be carried.

I did a lot of research on cat backpacks and pulled the trigger on this one due to its structural integrity while still maintaining breathability via the mesh.Structure: 5/5The top of the sides as well as the top are made of a sturdy mesh so that my cat cannot rip through it with her claws, and they supply good airflow as well. She loves the bubble on the front of the backpack, where she can get an uninhibited view of outside. The bubble itself was difficult to put on, but once situated it hasn't given me any problems. The bag itself is collapsible, which is great for storage if you chose to collapse it. In order to assemble the bag, you simply zip the bottom of the bag and place the bottom insert into the bag. The bottom also has straps that connect the bottom to the side so there will never be any malfunctions that cause the bottom to fall out during use.The top of the bag can open in two modes. You can unzip a large portion of the top and place your cat in the bag (first picture), or unzip a smaller square of mesh so your cat can poke its head out.Function: 5/5I chose this bag because of its functionality. It has deep mesh pockets on the side for storage, which was a selling point for me because it can hold my water bottle and my cat's accessories when we go out. The inside of the bag has a small leash that keeps your cat from jumping out of the bag if they get the opportunity. I don't use it often because she gets her arms twisted in it, but I still enjoy the option.I love how roomy this bag is for my cat. A lot of the backpacks on the market look fantastic but are a tight fit for most cats. A full-grown cat should be able to move around comfortably in this, with space to sit, lay, and pace. I like that the bottom portion of the backpack is made of material, so my cat can hide behind this when she feels intimidated or scared by something. She has the ability to adjust how much she interacts with the world, which is important to me as a pet owner.Comfortability: 4/5The bottom insert of the bag is mostly hard with a thin layer of soft material. For short trips this suffices, but I do slip in a blanket for her when we take long trips so she has something comfortable to lay on.For the wearer, this backpack is as comfortable as expected. It has a chest strap to support the weight, and has not given me any back or shoulder problems as of yet. You can feel your cat moving around in the bag, but it doesn't affect the wearer's balance too much.

SIZEI looked everywhere for reviews for people that have dachshunds, because their bodies are very long, even though they stand short. This carrier holds my almost 13 lb miniature dachshund and is actually a but big for her. She can be completely stretched out inside, and definitely has plenty of room to move around. You can see from the photos that she is quite comfortable inside. When the the bag is sitting upright, which is the position you would have when you are wearing it as a backpack, my dog has to lean her head down to look out the window. When the bag is laid on its back/ back down (this is probably the position you would put it in under an airplane seat), she is able to be completely stretched out and stand up completely. HOWEVER, I do not think that this bag is small enough to be carried as a carry-on bag for in cabin pet travel. It is too large to fit underneath the airplane seats. There is a smaller bag, it's the darker leather brown (pictured), and I will include the link. PETRIP Cat Carrier Cat Backpack Carrier for Large Cats 22 lbs Dog Backpack Carrier Dog Travel Bag Pet Backpack Carrier for Medium Small Cat Dogs Carrier for Hiking Airline Approved Pet Carrier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GST13RM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_8408E7MKG6T242GBFBBY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 My dachshund fit quite comfortably in both. If you have a dog that is going to be sitting up right in the backpack, you might want this light tan canvas bag because it is taller. Otherwise the dark leather-like one is more travel-friendly.TRAVELContinuing on with the airplane theme for national flights you have to have three sided ventilation. For international flights you have to have four sided ventilation. This bag has four sides and would work for these stipulations.Comparing it to the dark leather bag, this one is much less likely to fit under the airplane seat. If your dog is small enough, I would imagine the other** bag working as a carry-on.CLEANINGTo compare again: The leather like material bag would be completely wipe-off-able and stain proof. Obviously, you can remove the inner padding in both. I would say that this would be leak proof per airport "standards." I like that the leather like material does not let the dog hair stick to it, so it looks very clean, and elegant. The light tan canvas bag, which is made of canvas seems durable, the brown leather is much more cleanable. The light handbag is canvas, and the dog hair sticks to it, and it would be more likely to stain. PERHAPS the light canvas material would be more durable than the leather? I'm assuming that the Leather-like material might be more likely to get scratched or snagged. Time will tell!LOOKThe material is high quality, and looks great. One thing I was looking for was a bag that wasn't super obvious to being a pet carrier; as you can see from some of the pictures, this bag is obvious that you have a dog in this bag. When comparing the look of the light tan canvas bag, I think that I like the overall structure of the light tan canvas bag better.COMFORTI would say this would be completely comfortable for my Doxie to be in for several hours. She has plenty of space to move around and it is well-vented. For the person wearing it, it is not the most comfortable backpack I've had. It's not a bad backpack, but it has some form of a frame that keeps it in shape. But overall the straps are padded, and fit nicely over my shoulders. The light tan canvas bag felt like it didn't dig into my back as much as the dark leather. It has a longer length to it, and maybe it's that better on my hips. I'm not sure.STRUCTUREThis bag has a sturdy structure, good shoulder straps, zippers work nicely. I DO NOT like that these zippers go around the entire base of the bag - that entire base is supported only by the zipper. I feel like that's not really durable, and the second your zipper breaks, you can no longer transport your pet with this bag). I am assuming that it wouldn't break. But I'm saying "if" it broke, that could be bad.I really like that this bag has pockets - the leather one doesn't!***I will be returning this item only for one reason: It's too big to fit under the airplane seats.

Shrek loves going out in his Space Bubble bag! He goes on dog walks with us and feeds the ducks!
Moscow Maine coons
Our cats love to be outside but are lazy when it comes to leash walking so this was our best bet. It is the perfect size for our 18 pound Maine coon and he surprisingly likes to hang out of the top. I would recommend if you want one like the Fat Cat backpack but for a more affordable price! :)
Brianna Swyers
We bought this backpack because we previously owned a different cat backpack by Lollimeow and LOVED it. But now we have two cats :) so we needed something a bit bigger and more convenient for our adventurous lifestyle. This holds both of our cats perfectly!! The stitching is sturdy, the zippers and buckles feel like good quality, and overall I’m very satisfied with the versatility. My husbands only complaint is that the front of the bag isn’t structured or rigid enough to hold shape when you press on it, but I actually disagree because that means it can fold?? Take with that what you will lolWe are primarily going to use the black vent window instead of the space bubble because we let the cats stick their heads up through the mesh window when we are walking. When we are sitting down somewhere, we can lay the bag down so that they have more room. I also like that it can buckle into the passenger seat of our car!!The aesthetic of the bag is also super attractive because it doesn’t stand out!Hope this review helped someone :)

Lots of room for a larger the cat. The back does dig in to my back a little bit its sturdy and my cat enjoys the bubble window
Jolene Z.
My cat enjoyed the walk with me in this backpack. So quality approved.

My little guy loves his backpack! For reference, he is 10-11 lbs, so kinda a big boy comparatively. It took sometime to get him used to it but now he lays in it even when we are home. He feels so safe and secure in it. I originally purchased the clear cat backpack but it was too small and I didn’t feel like it had enough air circulation but this one has mesh sides and top that I feel gives him enough fresh air. He has a history of stress and anxiety that can cause his cat cold to come back but he felt so comfortable. It provides enough peak holes to see outside but not overwhelmed and exposed. He likes to lay down sometimes and just kinda hide so it gives him the option. I only dinged a bit because I feel like the back pack can get flimsy on the front right side but it’s durable! Overall great purchase
Alexis
My cat is a little on the bigger side length wise and this is a great size for him. The bubble is a bit of a pain to attach and the bottom does remove to clean.
Erin Steinmetz
Big hit around the neighborhood! Cute.

Highly recommend this bag. We’ve tried others and they have been too cramped for our cats, way over priced, and other issues. This is a great value that our cats can’t wait to get into and often hesitate to get out of. Spacious, easily cleaned, comfortable to wear, strong construction with beefy zippers, and all around a good pack,
James Raloff
The backpack is great, my cat loves it and goes in it even when we're not going anywhere. But I had to get a different harness because the one that comes with it sucks.
Jessica
It’s massive and adorable. My cat is still a little on the ropes about it. Easy to switch the dome to mesh once you get the hang of it. Only complaint is the big zipper on the top only works one way. If I use the right zip it remains open. All in all not too shabby.
NicWA
I really liked the pack. My cat didn't seem to mind it either. The only problem I have is that the inside strap to keep him secure broke on the first use ☹️
Laurel
Wasn't too uncomfortable to wear.Well-made. Cute.Big enough for my hefty 16lb boi.Dome scratched easy though, bumped into something.Too warm for me and my cat most of the year - a regret buy.
caroline
It provides plenty of space for my cat to lay at the bottom. It’s great to go bike riding and going out for a walk.
Elizabeth
Its so much easier to put my cat in this carrier than our hard side carrier. So far he hates it but he looks so cute in it. It seems well made and sturdy. The side pockets fit a ton of stuff too. I think it will last for a long time if the cat doesnt find a way to set it on fire or otherwise get rid of it because he really hates it. Oh, hes 16lbs if that is helpful to anyone.
Jessica Smart
My kitty Chester loves his new backpack! Chester is a large kitty and felt very comfortable with plenty of room.

Perfect size and very stable.

Absolutely loving this backpack! Im also glad the first one (different brand/seller/style) didnt work out as this one is absolutely perfect for me and my cat. Its no uncomfortable to wear for a while, and my cat enjoys coming out and about for little trips and adventures. She seems completely comfortable in it and has found all manners of ways to maneuver herself for her comfort as were going about our adventure. My overlord is pleased, so I am pleased as well.
Sam
This is the same exact size as the $150 Jacksons backpack/your cat backpack, FYI. Much better price!!
I have a nearly 20 pound black cat and a 10 pound orange cat. My black cat is pretty large, but he fit in this backpack perfectly!! They love boxes and small spaces so they instantly adored this pack. My orange baby still refuses to get out, lol. When either one lays down, they can see out of the bubble perfectly. I closed my black cat in the pack and he didnt mutter a word of discomfort, which he always does in his carrier. The visibility really helps him. Even after opening the top, he stayed in and even took a brief nap.
Every cat is different, though! Mine were very easy, so dont dismiss a bad reaction as the pack is too small, give them some time to get used to it and do it in small bursts. If the pack truly is too small, your baby wont get used to it and youll have to retire the experience and try something new.
Make sure that if you have your cat in a collar/harness and you have the top screen open, you are certain they wont jump out when clipped to the pack. I had my backpack facing forward when doing this and my cat tried to climb out, lol! The hook is a helpful safety measure but doesnt guarantee your kitty wont try and escape. And often times, they can use a tether like the leash & hook to escape from their collar/harness since you cant control their motion!!!!! Dont let them be successful, either wear the pack forward so you can snag them when they leap out or be sure to train your cat not to escape.

Our indoor cat loves it and she is looking forward to leave the house and enjoy the outdoors

I'm pretty sure just in the past two times using this I've sold 3 or 4 (Where's my commission?!? Haha)
But seriously, this thing is not only aesthetically pleasing, but sturdy and very spacious.
I mean, a huge cat might be snug in here, but both my 3 month old kitten and my 8 year old cat had plenty of space. The good bit of airflow from all sides is a plus too!
Kim
Love this bag. Easy to carry my 25 lb. Cat. He even jumps in to sleep. In the picture he looks smooshed but, it is perfect for him.

My cat loves looking out the bubble and sticking her head out the top when we walk.
debi
Wow this is big. I got the large because the medium wasnt available. There are some differences between the bag and the description. The large bag does have a zipper around the bottom. And there arent any zippered side pockets. I only have the two mesh pockets (1 on each side).
It does feel very sturdy and after its assembled (zipped up) it is lighter than it seemed when I first removed from the box. I have a 13 pound Siamese and there is more than enough room for him.
Update: we just took Nibbles to the park for the first time and the back pack was great. Nibbles hopped right back in whenever he got nervous. Its just the right height for him to sit up straight and look out the top. At first I thought the dome window was goofy but he enjoyed looking out of it. I do wish it had another opening on the side but overall Im very happy I got this and would do it again.

I really liked the pack. My cat didn't seem to mind it either.

I have a 25 lb cat. He fits perfectly in this bag. I tried bringing him on a hike. He's just not used to being inside a bag. The hike wasn't successful as my cat couldn't be comfortable. This bag is very sturdy though. I love that it has a window so my cat can see everything outside. It has a tie with a lock where you can tie your cat's leash so your cat can't jump out the bag.
Mila
She really loves her backpack! She feels comfortable and secure in there. Is perfect, I recommend it.

Perfect for all size cats. The first picture my sweet orange girl(rest in peace) was about 12lb and fit perfect. I have my new bottle baby in the backpack when I need to eat or do a task. My big fat orange male 15lb could fit as well.

Took our cat to see the Grand Canyon!
Great quality! Super fast shipping. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a cat backpack.

I love this bag. It seems super sturdy and it's nice and padded. I do have to play around with the straps so the bottom doesn't dig in to my back but even if it does a little it's worth it. It's very tall for my kitten but the bottom is good - she is paralyzed and needs extra room to sploot.

On first inspection, the quality was great! The fabric was sturdy, no risk of my cat ripping it, and the front bubble/mesh window were easy to switch. The bag also had a lot more space than I thought it would. However, the back straps worried me. They didn't have a lot of padding and they appeared too small for the size of the carrier. Knowing my 6 month rag doll may grow to 20lbs, I personally would have wanted more padding and for the straps to be wider. After trying it on, I quickly realized that by putting in the cloth insert they provided caused the bottom edge of the backpack to be really hard, so it was not comfortable as it dug into my back and made me need to lean forward to relieve the pressure, not great for posture or long walks. You can take out the insert, but then you loose your cat's support/footing platform. However, they do have padding on the back so that there is cushioning.
Summary: The bag is great quality and really focuses on making sure your cat is comfortable and has plenty of air flow. The ability to fold the top screen and allow your cat to poke its head out is great and not commonly found in other backpacks. The side mesh pockets are great for carrying treats, your phone, or a small fan. My complaints are that it is not incredibly comfortable for the wearer due to the hardness of the cloth insert and straps. But I do feel they tried to make it more comfortable with the back cushioning. Lastly, while the increased size is the whole point of the bag, just keep in mind if you are short, I am 5'2", it's pretty large to carry around.

I have the original Lollimeow Bubble backpack which is super cute! Just a little bit of a tight fit as my cat is large (Around 11lbs). I was happy to find this larger backpack. He loves it! I put him in it and he just hung out on his own even though he had the option to get out. He loved looking through the bubble. I would highly recommend this backpack for larger cats! He fit so much more comfortably in this than regular sized cat backpacks! It's built very sturdy as well. Very high quality!

Havent found anything I dont like so far. My boy is big and long so its hard to carry him to vet appointments in regular carriers. Heavy, and awkward for both of us. A backpack is perfect. I hike with my dogs and now we dont have to leave our cat at home! Although we havent actually done it yet. We are working up to it. This is sturdy, good size and has comfortable shoulder straps. Love it!

My cat is a little on the bigger side length wise and this is a great size for him. The bubble is a bit of a pain to attach and the bottom does remove to clean.

I loved the bag over all
Good straps
Enough space
Great quality

He did not show any discomfort while traveling. We took about 2 miles trail def would not recommend on hot weather. Please read the tag !! Warning show over heating of bag in hot temp.

Love the size, it's sturdiness, and interchangeable window. My kitty can climb on top of the backpack itself and it won't bend under pressure, she loves to stick her head out of the window, and it still has room for another cat if your cat isn't on the "fluffier" side (written in June 2020)
One year later (April 2021) we got a new kitty and so we got a new backpack! This one had some weird straps on the bottom that the first carrier did not have, also the sides somehow did not seem as sturdy as tree first, but so far it has held up nicely after a flight to New York and back to Los Angeles, a few outdoor hikes and several car rides sooo, weird straps aside, I think its safe to say, this bag is a great value for the money.

First off, let's talk size. This thing is advertised for large cats. I've got a 14 pound tom. He isn't fat, he's just huge; nearly two feet from nose to rump. He fits in this bag, but barely. He's got room to lie down, room to sit up, and just enough room to turn around if he needs to. That said, if I add a blanket as padding in the bottom, he doesn't fit sitting up all the way.
Next, let's talk about comfort. My cat seems to be okay in it, but the bottom does cave a bit under his weight, and it's very firm/not super comfy for long periods. I'm gonna have to make a custom crate mat for this bag because anything else is too thick for him to still fit in on top. My cat surprisingly is not terrified of this bag; I leave it laying on its back with a blanket inside when we aren't using it, and he takes naps in there. As for the wearer's comfort, well, this is the bulkiest bag I've ever carried, and with 14 pounds of nervous feline inside of it, I can't say it feels great to walk around in. That said though, it's probably about the same level of inconvenience as a hiking pack. It's got pretty good support and the straps feel sturdy.

I love the bag! Very sturdy not flimsy at all! My cat jumps in the bag when he wants to go for a walk. I got the large and I have a 13 lb cat. Theres more than enough space for it to move around inside. The inside bottom is wool for the cat to sit on. The bag is perfect to go anywhere.

I initially got this back pack for our 18lbs cat because it was so hard to get him in and out of his carrier. This back pack makes it a lot easier because I can put him head first in the back pack and zip it up before he has time to turn around and jump out. Theres also a smaller zipper opening.
The dome is hard to get on. Im not exactly sure how to put it on. I just fidget with it and it snaps on.
I got a second back pack for our kittens and they both fit in it fine. They were aggressively biting the gate to our carrier so this backpack works a lot better.
The bottom has a cushioned floor and is very sturdy. It also folds flat for storage.

Very sturdy backpack for my large cat (15 lbs)

Well made. Like that its adjustable. My cats like being outdoors and I do take them out on a harness and leash daily. Would like to take them camping with us. Safe way to transport them. They are getting used to it. My one cat likes it but the other does not

I have two cats one is gray and name tornado the other one is brown and name stormy. This is my first time writing a review I just want to say how much I love my cat backpack and my cats love the backpack too My cats Head a lot of fun going to the beach. I purchased this for my cat and it is taking him a long time to get acclimated to this carrier. I should preface this by saying he hates all carriers and meows like someone is murdering him anytime he is placed in a carrier. I leave his carriers out all the time so he can get used to them being around, and occasionally, he hops into them. Occasionally, Ill zip it closed. Thats when the terror scream/whine/meow starts. Ill feed him treats through the window as well, but he hates it. Thats where my sisters dog comes into the picture. We recently went hiking and she wanted to bring him along. We knew he wouldnt make the 8 mile hike, so I brought the backpack for him. It worked like a charm! He LOVED it! We were asked so many times along the hike, Where did you get that? Its perfect! The backpack held all of his treats, waste bags, and a large bottle of water without any problems. Diesel, a yorkie, had plenty of room to move around. He tangled himself a bit with the harness leash attachment but nothing that was concerning. I would definitely recommend getting this if you have an adventure pet or the patience of Job to train your stubborn as all get out cat. Im still training my cat with this carrier. Im not giving up that East and my sister is now purchasing a backpack for her dog.

We have a BIG cat and have had to buy small dog carriers in order for him to fit- this carrier is the perfect size where he can sit up nice and tall when hes in there, or comfortably lay down when we set it flat on the ground. There is plenty of air circulation and its easy to clean! Were very happy with this purchase.

Cat is so comfortable in this compared to the regular crate. She is hardly crying when I took her for her spa day
