It’s well built people usually get really excited seeing my green cheek conure it in and there’s plenty of room in it for him. It’s well ventilated and will probably last a while. I think my conure likes it because it’s clearer than the mesh covered carrier and he chewed through the mesh-he can’t chew through it.

For size reference: Zenny is only 6 months old. He’s a Snowshoe siamese, so definitely not a large breed of cat. I feel comfortable with him being in the book bag at his current age, but I would not feel okay once he got any bigger than this. The pad for the bottom of the bag is also EHHH, I mean it does the job but I thought it would be nicer/thicker/more comfortable.

I got it for the convenience of being able to transport my cat instead of using a pet carrier, and it has worked great so far. One of my concerns was that he’d hate it and run as soon as I get the bag but he actually plays inside of it on his own and will voluntarily get inside. Great purchase, I’d get the one that extends backwards though because there’s not a whole lot of room for an adult cat.

I absolutely love this backpack, it’s perfect for one or two cats. The back expands easily and has air holes throughout the backpack. This is also very safe for your cats, lots of places where you think your cat might wanna get out but they are closed either by a net or the actual part of the backpack. I would definitely recommend!
