Perfect for quick trip to the vet in Florida weather.

Hi all, i wanted to get the best carrier I could, so I purchased 3 different ones based on reviews. I purchased the name brand known for this specific style, lollimeow, and 2 unbraded ones from different sellers. One specific unbranded (the cat eyes one) i purchased it because it was supposed to be wider by 2".

Lollimeow, despite the fact that the lollimeow first arrived with a dent on the plastic, customer service was great and sent me a new carrier. As seen in the photos, lollimeow was the widest of them all. The material is fabric, like the fabric used for like a backpacks. It is well made, and sturdy. I have two kittens, 10 weeks old, and they both fit well. It is sooo roomie, and I know size won't be an issue when my kitties grow older.. i love the feature of expanding it. And i love that lollimeow provides a mini fan for hot days. The "cat ear" one did not have feature. Now let's talk about this one...
Ashleyriver (cat ears): the only reason why I purchased this bag it was because it claims to be 14+" wide vs. 12+" of the other two. To me, extra 2" is a big difference for a cat. False advertisement!!. it is NOT what it claims!!. It is very close widthwise to the other two. It is smaller as well, so uf you prefer a smaller carrier. This one is the smallest one!. The fabric is the same as the lollimeow.
Jerrycat: I actually liked this one the most when it comes to the built. It just felt sturdier than all of them. The material used was different too, it was like a hard version of an umbrella fabric. It is definitely smaller than the lollimeow. I do like the expansion zipper design on this one better than the lollymeow, i personally prefer a small opening. If it wasn't because lollimeow had such a great customer service, I probably would have kept the jerrycat one.

Overall, I am please with the construction of them all. It is a matter of interior space. The largest being the original lollimeow, all the way down to the cat ear one.

Bought this after hearing a friend gush about how much their cat loves it. I needed a carrier she could feel comfortable and safe in, especially when we go out on adventures, and this one has done the trick beautifully!

It's easy to get her into the carrier, especially with the multiple entry points. (Every other style of carrier I tried was really difficult to get her into.) It's also been really easy to gradually introduce her to each new feature (fully open, fully closed, closed with mesh part down, etc.). I love that she can see so well from inside and that she gets good airflow. It's comfortable for me and she fits well inside. She's 12lbs and, while I wouldn't describe it as spacious when it's fully closed, the backpack is still big enough that she can turn around whichever way she wants and get comfy even while I'm wearing it. But with the mesh part open, it's downright palatial!

My only complaint is that the chest strap with the buckle isn't fully attached. One side of the buckle/strap is securely sewn on, but the other is an adjustable situation that will just slide right off. I'm going to sew the other side down and it'll be fine, but just keep this in mind if the chest strap is a big selling point for you.

My dog fits nicely and the expandable back can be extremely convenient for long travel. Could use a few more pockets to put belongings though.

This is an awesome backpack. Cat hates it after a few minutes right now. Hoping she will get used to it because it is a neat product. Very good material.
