Bought this carrier for a cat I recently adopted. I'm a first pet-owner, so I wanted a durable one that I would feel comfortable wearing around (I live in an urban area). I'm also someone who doesn't love to carry things in my hands when travelling, and I've used those almost duffel-like bags that some of my friends have for their pets and wasn't in love with how I would have to make sure I'm not bumping into anything etc on my side - so makes sense why I opted for the backpack. The backpack itself looks huge - but leaves a lot of space for your pet. It seems durable, and the plastic seems thick, my only thing is that when the backpack is on and my cat is moving around I can feel her weight shifting around in an unstable way behind me that I can't really control (since its on my back) that is somewhat off-putting. However I don't think that influences the integrity of the bag - I think if you can get over that, you're fine. No pockets at all for other items that you don't want in the same space as your animal. Overall a good purchase for a mid/bigger cat and for an owner who likes taking their animal on the go.

The straps are a bit too long but not really an issue. I realized my cat is too fat for this but my guinea pigs can fit inside so whenever we go to Petsmart I use this!

I love it. My cat is kinda of a big boy so he can sit in it but he loves looking around and the backpack is easy to carry and the material is nice. I also like that they wrap the bubble dome so it stays looking nice once you get it. Only thing I would change is to make the seat a little wider for thr bigger cats. But either way I enjoy it.

My 13-lb kitty girl fits just fine in this bag sitting upright, and if she wanted to she would have room to curl up in as well. The bag is constructed well for wear on either the back or the front. The part that would rest on your back isn’t reinforced like I thought it might be, but that’s fine. There was no heavy plastic smell upon arrival. Will update at a later date after it’s been used some!

I bought two so my bf and I could take both cats out at once. My cats hate it, but I love it and always get stopped by strangers. They always ask me if the cats can breathe to which I point out the big holes like yes Debra, the cats can breathe, are you blind? Anyway, I don't take them out often because they don't enjoy it, but they are much easier to operate than a traditional carrier if you need to take the cat to the vet. Just open up the backpack all the way, plop the cat in the middle, close it up like a clam and zip it up. I have way fewer claw marks now.

Received my Lollimeow backpack and was surprised to see the clear bubble part had melted plastic all over it upon arrival (see photo). It looked like shrink wrap had been used to protect plastic. When trying to remove melted plastic is when the problem started. It took a good 45 minutes to get most of the plastic off and when the job was completed I realized the clear plastic on backpack was damaged - no longer clear. I sent item back and received my replacement today. Again, same issue with 2nd item. I decided to use hairdryer on medium heat to remove melted plastic and this did the strick. I was able to pull all plastic wrap off and the clear bubble was not damaged this time. I think if Lollimeow is using shrink wrap to protect the clear plastic from scratching in shipment they need to provide instructions on how to remove to customers. Once I used hairdryer in sections and pulled plastic wrap carefully the plastic peeled off quite easily. Overall the Carrier looks very sturdy and the yellow patent-leather looking material is very nice. My kitty fit in carrier just fine and seemed to adapt well. I think she will be happier to know I'm close bye when she has a vet visit. I did try carrying her in front vs. back and it seems comfortable both ways.

I liked the ease of wearing the pack. My kitty cat on the other hand... didn’t much care for it. But she just needs to get used to it.

I use this for my prairie dogs and my bearded dragon. They love it and it keeps them comfy and safe when we go for walks. The only complaint I have is that there’s only one pocket so there’s no places to store treats and supplies. I would definitely buy this again though.

Super cute backpack for your furry friend. I decided to test it out by taking my very long cat out. While he was a little freaked out by the sensory overload, he was comfortable(ish), and he didn't escape, and what else could you really ask for? Something I don't think you get in the pictures is that it's a pretty large backpack, and not the most easy thing to carry around. All in all, still a great purchase.

I got this carrier for my 2 year old cat. She loves to go outside in the carrier, and plays in it in the house. My cat fits well and seems comfortable inside. (If it gets hot, add a lunchbox ice pack under the floor pad). The carrier is not very heavy, has comfortable shoulder straps and an extra support clip in the front that keeps it extra secure. The inside hook strap on the bottom connects securely to my cats harness. She can move about the carrier, but can't escape if it were to be accidentally opened. I looked at other carriers and this was by far the best choice!!!

My daughter uses it to take her bearded dragon places. It has been perfect for this

Bought this carrier after my two chinchillas got too big for their current carrier bag. It's incredibly hard to find good structured travel bags for rodents that don't have too many places for them to chew on while still being light-weight and easy to use for city commuting. They're enjoying it so far and love being able to look out on the world. 

We use this for our Green Cheek Conure to transport for vet, nail trims, etc. Downside is the area can get too warm if in the sun for long, so definitely get the little fan to help with airflow. It’s perfect for birds.

We were worried that the cat would get left behind, but he loves his new backpack. He looks comfortable, and seems totally calm. The clear backing also lets him see outside so he can actually experience hikes with the rest of the pack :)

Everyone who sees this is blown away I use it to carry my conure, he fits in it fine, it's easy to clean, but if your pet wets in the carrier on your back you will get soaked.

This purchase was a fantastic find for me, perfect for my 18 year old ragdoll cat who loves to go outside and be close to his human. Very sturdy no sagging works great.I included some photos I apologized as I just ripped it out of the box that I didn't have time to tear off the protective coating that protects the clear glass when shipping so you'll notice that in some of the pictures,but with all the clear plastic off and stroll around our 16 acres my cat was very happy;) ALSO any small dog, critters ect this perfect!

I can't think of a cooler item! This backpack is so cool and my cat just hangs out in it.

We love this, but more importantly, so does our cat. He goes everywhere we go and just lays down and people watches while we do our shopping and errands. It gives him the opportunity to get out without being exposed to anyone/thing, or having to watch him while on his lead. Well made and the clear plastic doesn't easily get scratched. Great bag for any cat or small dog, unless you hate attention because many will ask you about the bag. Our cat is still a kitten but we think bigger cats will do fine.

I was very indecisive about this purchase. It looks so cute but I was worried how much my cat would actually enjoy it and how easy it would be to put her in each time we were ready to go out the door��especially with some of these other carriers I was looking at with lots of zippers and pockets. I was also worried about taking her in the plane with me/ airport. Overall, I��m pretty happy with this purchase! She actually really likes it because she��s able to see everything and be close to us which is nice. She won��t usually get in on her own since you have to zip the whole thing up at once but she won��t ever fight us putting her in it. The only downside is I fear on extremely hot days it gets a little hot and stuffy in there but putting a lunchbox cooler in with her at times seems to fix this. She��s done great with this backpack in both the airport and out adventuring with us. The pocket on the side is nice for snacks and what not and the little opening on the other side is nice to reach in and pet her when she��s nervous (ie during a plane ride). Not to mention she is the most popular thing wherever we go with all of the comments on the backpack. Over all I would recommend it!

My big boy loves it, he immediately jumped in. It looks like a tight fit but once he layed down he had a lot more room.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this as It only had 2 reviews but I absolutely love it. Best $50 I have ever spent. I just attached a perch and put her in. She is a bit wary of it but I put a treat in and shes now singing. My bird broke her foot before I got her and because of that she had a very weak grip so we are at the vet at least twice a month to get blood feathers pulled. This is going to make it so much easier to travel with her. I don't have a car so I had to lug a huge pet carrier onto the bus. I can't wait to use this instead. Edit: after months of use I can honestly say that this is one of the best purchases I have made. I do feel like ut should have a few more holes as well as sturdier straps. The onky drawbacks in thus carrier is that I see a potential for over heating especially if you use it during the summer. It scratches very easily. I put it in a box once I'm finished with it. Instead on fabric mesh on the sides I personally would add stainless steel mesh. A few bites from a cat/ small dog or small animal would be able to break the mesh and the animal could get it's head stuck. Those are the only thing's I dont like. Its great for vet trips. Makes it extremely easy to keep an eye on my bird while she's hurt and buses typically don't allow pets even in carriers but with her on my back nobody notices. It helps that shes so quiet. All in all I love this carrier. It serves it's purpose and its aesthetically pleasing so thats a plus.

We really like this backpack/capsule cage, it��s practical to transport our cat, it��s confortable to carry and seems like he enjoys to go out and explore the surroundings, I��m just worried about the summer, I think is going to get very hot inside.

I purchased this for my teacup chihuahua. It was definitely worth it! She��s always loved going outdoors but because of how tiny she is she never really gets to enjoy it. This bag has completely changed that for her! Not only can she relax, she can smell the air still, feel the sunshine, and look out as much as she wants! She also can save her energy for the fun parts of adventuring with her mama! I would definitely buy this again, it��s very lightweight and easy to carry! It has a strap that goes against your chest that you can move that is really nice and helps take some weight off your back. There are two pockets, one on each side. (They are a little small and don��t have much space) The pocket on the left side has a zipper that opens and allows the animal inside to stick their head out or feed them. The main screen does get dirty from the inside a little quickly but it washes off easily! 10/10 would definitely buy again

I love this backpack. It doesnt collapse on the cat when I wear it. People love it and ask where I received it. It's small though. Not recommended for cats over 9 lbs. I use it for my foster kittens and wear it at adoption events.

Our cat loves it, but he��s not your average cat. I think he has Bengal in him as he loves water, adventure, is friendly, and comes running to get a treat when our dogs get a treat. My 10 yr old son asked for this as a birthday gift and tried it out on a couple of walks with me and our dogs, with his cat, Nico. The cat liked it so much, he crawled inside it later when it was just sitting in our living room. It��s well made, and very secure.

Must get!! I absolutely love this!! It��s super functional and cool also well made. My cat was meowing a lot at first cause she had no idea what was going on but after walking for a bit she got used to it and had fun looking around. Now I can walk her with my dog. Love love love this!

Got this for our classroom pet bunny. My students love when I come in on Mondays and leave on Fridays with him in his carrier. He just lays down for the carride home. I also like that I can strap it in inthecar through the top handle just incase I need to stop suddenly.

Great quality, not very spacious but does the job for smaller pets. I have a 5 month old kitten. I put him in with a thick fleece blanket and he��s fine. Comfortable for you to carry with the clip in front.

Love love this!!!I am so in love with this! My cat loves this also. He fits nicely inside it and curled all up. I took him with me on some errands today and to the pet store. So many people complimented it. This is so perfect I can��t wait for summer when I can ride a bike and take my cat with me. Or on a little walk on hike. My cat is 10-11 pounds. I don��t think anything more then that will fit very good. My other cat fits better he is only 7 pounds.

Our cat seems to enjoy it! We just received this backpack. My son said he wanted it to walk our new cat around the neighborhood. We have not wanted him to become an outdoor cat. We did have to do some coaxing to encourage him into the bag but he seemed to enjoy it well enough. We look forward to trying this more.

I normally take my Bengal Zeus out in his harness and most of the time he rides on my shoulder or on the top of his pet stroller and when I saw this pet backpack I thought what a purrfect idea because every time we go anywhere people want to touch/pet Zeus and this way they can't, they can only see him. But I wasn't sure he was gonna like being sealed up in a container. Well, he didn't mind it at all. He sat in it and laid down in it and even ate treats in it. He weighs about 14 lbs so he fit just fine in there. I REALLY love this and highly recommend it to anyone with a cat or small dog (or any other small animal) that wants to take them places without the hassle of everyone wanting to touch them.

PROS: Saw this item on Instagram and was very interesting, bought it straight away, at first did not know if it was going to fit my 5 month old rabbit he's very small anyway. And fit him very nice spacious for him to turn and stuff. Inside material is like a nylon and the outside material is like a very shiny top coated leather. Very nice. It also has back support and very lightweight also breathable. Has a removable pad inside to wash if needed CONS: Has only one pocket to hold drinks and maybe a small ziplock bag as shown in pictures. Make sure to leave out and let the smell out before putting your pet inside. OVERALL: Love it very spacious and just what I need

Just got it today and love it already! Thought it would be hard to get cats interested but they already love getting in it. I did put a treat in there to trick them but really didn��t need to! It��s their new hangout spot! will take it out for a test walk :) If considering purchasing, be mindful of size. My cats aren��t very small (14 lbs) and when they sit and curl up inside plenty of room. Still I was a bit nervous when purchasing. Overall, really great, durable feeling material, and I love that one of the pockets opens up completely, and that there are lots of vents for air circulation.

This thing is really dang cool, the only thing is that the padded 'floor' is not secured to the bottom, and can slide up.

I love it! it came in the mail today and I put both my cats in it at different times and took a walk with both it was great they got a lot of attention and people loved it and were able to pet them it started to sprinkle and it wasn't that bad and didn't get that wet but when I got home it was easy to clean although I love it so much it was worth it and my cats even love it

Adorable, Sturdy, and Comfortable for Kitty. I have a smallish cat (he's currently 7 lbs and not predicted to get much bigger) and he has tons of room. I've gotten a million requests for pictures, it's great to be able to see him, he likes to look out, and he is very comfortable in there. It's nicely built and easy to use.

Best carrier, I've used.This is the best backpack I've bought for my cat. I previously had one that cost way more than this and it was mostly cloth and mesh and always got wet in the rain and was really had to clean out when my cat got sick in the carrier (my cat has severe motion sickness). This backpack didn't get wet in the pouring rain when walking down to a friend's house and was roomy enough and comfy for my first baby, and with summer on the way and a curious cat the clear area for her to see and air holes will be perfect for the beautiful maine scenery and the hot summer heat.

My cat didn't like it at first, but she relaxed after a while. I don't recommend it for long travels, of course, we just used it for short ones like going to the store to buy milk lol. I live in PA so it's cold here now but I will not use this during the warm season for sure.

This is a comfortable and safe backpack for a small indoor-only cat. It's much easier to get a cat into than a typical carrier, it's comfortable enough to wear and rigid enough not to worry about passenger safety. It's appropriate for taking an indoor cat on a short walk or outing.

We have a 9 month old kitten that loves being with us every second of the day. If we leave the house, he cries. We bought this to take him on little walks around the neighborhood, so he can be with us and enjoy some new sights. He seems to love getting in the 'bubble bag' and is not eafter to get out when we get back home, so that's a good sign. He plays in it during the day/night too. I also put him in it and set him outside while I'm gardening, he enjoys watching me and being by my side.

I love this pet backpack carrier! Made for Cats but I bought it for my Rats. They are ridiculously cute in this Backpack. it is very convenient; The pack is very breathable with air holes as well as two mesh windows for your furry family member to breath comfortably. It has a floor mat that comes in and out for cleaning (I personally wrap my floor mat with a puppy pad to keep it extra clean) Plus the large window allows your pet to look out while you are traveling to the vet or wherever your adventures may take you. The one mesh window opens as a small door for petting or to have access to your furry family member. Keep your pet close to your heart on every adventure in this well made and thought out design.

This bag is adorable! I have a kitten who doesn��t like to be in carriers but she tolerates this backpack better than even the mesh carriers. She��s very attached to me because I rescued her from being abandoned in the freezing cold at just 7 weeks old. So this allows her to see me, and everything else around. Plus I can see her very clearly. It is even hands free and very comfortable to wear on your back. It seems very sturdy and roomy enough for a small cat. I also got many compliments at the vet and when I carried her into the pet store with me. I included two pictures- one of my 5 month old kitten and one of my very large beast of a cat (who is part Norwegian forest cat) to show the size difference. I would recommend it for smaller sizes/breeds.

This is Jinx - an adult sized cat and the book bag is big enough for her to move around a bit and lay down. I love the side pocket so I can pet her and she can poke her head out. People have asked me how hard it was to get her in there and it wasn't difficult. The first time I used treats and didn't move her and went from there. Straps are sturdy. While at the vet - I received so so many compliments on her and the cat backpack. 10/10 recommend and love. Only thing I didn't like was the plastic that was on the outside? Impossible to get fully off.

We loved it and so did our dog. Absolutely perfect and great quality. He looked a little cramped but he was perfectly fine and even curled up after a while. We absolutely are happy with the product.

I love this carrier and my kitten seems to agree with me. It is sturdy, well ventilated, and stylish. Its size works well for my 5 months (8lbs) kitten. Only downside so far is that the front is easily scratched. I probably backed to a wall and damaged the front. I also do not know whether the backpack would be comfortable to a more heavy weighted cat.

My cat gets car sick in most carriers. This one is perfect! He can see and is well protected. Was worried he wouldn��t have enough airflow. Works fine, but have only used in air conditioned spaces and in my air conditioned car.

My cat is super furry and a little on the heavy side, so I was worried she wouldn't fit in it but she does! Shes 12-13lbs, shes a little snug in it but still fits and doesnt mind being in it. Definitely recommended, especially if you want a backpack with a 360 view for your fur baby??
